Drug Drop Box Locations

Yates County Public Health promotes the safe disposal of medication in drop boxes.

Abuse of prescription drugs is a major public health problem in New York State. Studies show that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, including the home medicine cabinet.

To help address this problem, the Yates County Sheriff Office has established three permanent medication drop box locations throughout Yates County.

Any unwanted, unused, or expired medication can be dropped off at any drop box location.
