TRAFFIC REDUCTION INFORMATION

Traffic infractions ONLY - This does not apply to Traffic Misdemeanors including Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Driving While Intoxicated

DO NOT CONTACT THIS OFFICE BY PHONE TO DISCUSS YOUR TRAFFIC TICKET.  WE WILL NOT DISCUSS TRAFFIC REDUCTIONS BY PHONE.  A MEMBER OF OUR STAFF WILL APPEAR IN COURT AT THE SCHEDULED PRETRIAL CONFERENCE.

Reductions will be considered at the pretrial conference. The court will notify you of the date and time of the conference upon receipt of a not-guilty plea. At the time of the pretrial conference you must provide:

     1) A current original of your Department of Motor Vehicle Driving Abstract certified by DMV.  This may be obtained at any DMV office for a fee. We do not accept computer printed records from any source including DMV.

     2) A written, signed statement demonstrating "good cause" why a reduction should be granted under the circumstances of the infraction.

     3) A copy of the ticket

We will not process your request if any of the above-listed items are not provided.

By making a reduction application by mail, you are waiving the in-court pretrial conference to consider a reduction application.

COURT ADJOURNMENTS: YOU ARE REPOSIBLE FOR CONTACTING THE COURT TO REQUEST AN ADJOURNMENT. OUR OFFICE DOES NOT GRANT ADJOURNMENTS; ONLY THE COURT MAY GRANT ADJOURNMENTS. YOU SHOULD ADJOURN YOUR CASE FOR 45 DAYS TO GIVE US TIME TO PROCESS YOUR REQUEST. (See link for court information)
