The Yates County Personnel Department is responsible for the administration and management of Human Resource and personnel functions for the employees of Yates County. This includes new employee orientation, benefit and retirement information and introduction to County policies and procedures.

The Yates County Personnel Department administers the provisions of State Civil Service Law for the 23 County Departments and all of the towns, villages, schools and special districts in Yates County.
