This is a small neighborhood cemetery, now abandoned and unmaintained. It contains the graves of several members of the Society of Universal Friends, including those of Beloved Luther and his family and some of the “Faithful Sisterhood” who followed the Friend into the then-wilderness of western New York.

Sporadic efforts have been made to clean the site of brush, but none has been kept up; the beautiful iron fence around the VanTuyl plot is in ruins, and many of the stones are broken, have fallen or are missing. The cemetery is visible from the highway, but is some distance from it on a knoll in an open field.
