This is now an association cemetery, well maintained and still used for burials today. For more than a century it has served the settlement of Voak, once centered on the Methodist church and public school located at the crossroads. The cemetery may have gotten its start as a burial ground for the numerous Voak family, but soon was used by many other families in the area.
