Responsibilities
The Office of Emergency Management provides opportunities of training to County Emergency Responders, coordinates the response to emergency of all kinds, collaborates on policies with the Enhanced 911 Dispatch Center, develops and maintains plans, coordinates disaster preparedness and hazardous mitigation activities and provides support services to many local government organizations.
The Office of Emergency Management maintains and administers an integrated Emergency Services program designed to assure a safe environment through prevention/mitigation, readiness, response, and recovery.
