Immunizations

Yates County Public Health offers childhood and adult vaccines by appointment only at our monthly clinics or at the Public Health office. To make an appointment, call 315-536-5160. All clinics are held at the Public Health Department.

2023 Immunization Clinic Schedule 

Children attending daycare or school in New York State are required to have immunizations per Public Health Law 2164. Learn what vaccines your child will need for daycare and school here.

Childhood Vaccines Offered at Clinics

  • DTaP and Tdap
  • Polio
  • MMR
  • Varicella (chicken pox)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hib
  • Pneumococcal Conjugate vaccine (PCV)
  • Rotovirus
  • HPV
  • Meningococcal vaccine
  • Flu

Yates County Public Health is able to bill Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care Products. For children who do not have health insurance, the charge for administration is based on a sliding fee scale. We are unable to offer vaccine to those children that have commercial health insurance products.

Adult Vaccines Offered at Clinics

For current prices of these vaccines or to schedule an appointment, please give the office a call. The following are vaccines are offered to those 19 years of age and older:

  • MMR for college students
  • Flu
  • Td/Tdap
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B

Tdap & Flu Vaccine for Families With a New Baby

The arrival of a new baby is a happy time. But before you cuddle with your new little bundle of joy, Public Health encourages all fathers, grandparents and infant caregivers to get a Tdap vaccine if not already vaccinated and a flu vaccine. The Tdap vaccine will protect you and the infant from whooping cough (also called pertussis). You should get both vaccines at least 2 weeks before visiting the baby.

Free Tdap & Flu vaccine at Public Health

Public Health has free Tdap and flu vaccine for anyone 19yrs or older who:Protect your baby from pertussis

  • Has no health insurance
  • Has health insurance that does not cover the Tdap or Flu vaccine
