Inmates may be allowed to attend a family member's funeral. The stipulations for this are as follows:

• The funeral is in New York State.
• The Jail Administrator is provided with the death notice from the Funeral Home.
• The Jail Administrator is provided with the Obituary from a newspaper.

Clothing

The inmate may be allowed to wear civilian clothes as determined by the Jail Administrator. However, the inmate will be required to be hand cuffed and shackled throughout the funeral proceedings.
