ABOUT THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT:

The Yates County Department of Finance was established on January 1, 2022, by vote of the general public on July 27, 2020; Local Law 6-20. The Department of Finance works in close collaboration with the County Treasurer and is responsible for the following:

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Certificate of Residency
  • Occupancy Tax Management & Collection
  • Sales Tax Management
  • Budget Administration
  • State Reporting
  • Prepare Monthly & Annual Financial Reports
