Youth Development Program Funding

Youth development program funding must directly support the establishment, operation and/or maintenance of a youth development program. Youth development funding must be used to provide community-level services designed to promote positive youth development. These may include, but are not limited to, services that: 

  1. Promote physical and emotional wellness, educational achievement or civic, family and community engagement; 
  2. Provide family support; 
  3. Prevent juvenile delinquency and/or child abuse and neglect; 
  4. Avert family crises; 
  5. Provide support services to youth in an approved runaway or transitional independent living support program; and 
  6. Assist youth in need of crisis intervention or respite services.

To apply for Youth Development (YDP) funding complete all four forms and return to Yates County Youth Bureau by October 31st. Program funding year runs October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024.
