[ARCHIVED] Village of Dresden Boil Water Order

BoilWater-4-25-18

The NY State Health Department has ordered a "Boil Water Notice" for the entire Village of Dresden following a water main break. Although the water main break has been fixed, the Boil Water Notice is in effect until further notice.  During the Boil Water Notice,  use bottled or boiled water for drinking, watering pets, cooking, washing dishes, brushing teeth, making infant formula, washing fruits & vegetables, and making ice.

It is okay to shower as long as you take precautions to avoid getting water in your mouth.  It is safe to do laundry as long as clothes are machine dried thoroughly before wearing.

The Village of Dresden will notify the community when the boil water order has been lifted. Any questions or concerns please contact Brian Ellis at 315-536-2477.  To learn more about what a Boil Water Notice means, click here.
