With temperatures rising this summer, many people may struggle to be safe from extreme heat and humidity.  Learn the places in Yates County that are open to the public where you can go to be more comfortable in a climate-controlled setting.  The Dundee American Legion and the Penn Yan Public Library are among the places in Yates County where a climate-controlled environment can be enjoyed and the public is welcome. Additionally, area parks will be open for swimming with lifeguards on duty at specific times.
